It's great strength is inherent in its classic simplicity and it's efficiency in form and function have made the Telecaster one of the most played and heard instruments in musical history.

Today you would have to pay somewhere around $30K for a 1955 Tele... that is if you could find one. The good news is, that you don't have to pay 30K for that vintage vibe! If you've reached this page, you've probably already heard about Kelton Swade and you know that his Vintage Replica guitars are played by some of the biggest names in the music industry. Players like Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Robben Ford, Brent Mason, Doug Seven and Johnny Highland to name only a few have been playing Kelton's guitars on stage, while touring and leaving their originals at home. Why? Because, no other guitar in the world will have the vintage vibe like one of these bad boys!

Kelton's small family of craftsmen near Nashville, Tennessee has a 400 year fine woodworking tradition that dates back to Europe. The end result is a Telecaster that's not only unique in its vintage appearance but in how it plays and how it sounds. Kelton uses a special technique to pretreat the bodies and necks. This is a process that takes about 3 months and essentially ages the wood. Through a balance of science and art, it hardens the pores of the wood making it behave and sound like a vintage guitar. It causes the guitar to be naturally lighter because it removes all the moisture from the wood. This whole process along with the thin nitro cellulose lacquer lets the wood breathe and sing! This guitar weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz. and the vibe will get you right in the ribs! This guitar really has that classic Tele "spank" with plenty of Tele quack. She's well balanced and strong with a great voice and a huge presence. This is the pinnacle of the Tele range...warm and clear with sustain forever. This guitar really has the MOJO!
