Fender Custom Shop Team Built 1951 Nocaster Relic

For '50s-era guitarists who would soon be playing Rock'n roll, the Fender Broadcaster hit the music scene with the impact of the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and the sound of the "plank" solid body became famous the world over. In 1951, they changed the name to the Nocaster, and now the "plank" is known as the Telecaster. Whatever you want to call it, this guitar is still the main axe used by such greats as Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, and the Master of the Telecaster Albert Collins.

This Fender Custom Shop Team Built Vintage Spec 1951 Nocaster is an exact recreation of the original 1951 Nocaster right down to the finest detail, including the paint 'halo' underneath the pickguard. This guitar has been Relic'd to look exactly like a 1951 Nocaster would look like today after years of play and lots of love. This guitar was built from original tooling and features an ash body, 1 pc U-shaped maple neck with 7.25" Radius and Vintage Frets, single-ply black pickguard and original spec 1951 Nocaster pickups, and 3 Way Selector Switch.
